How bulk compression works
-
Drop your batch
Open getsnapshrink.com/app/ and drag multiple JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF files onto the drop zone — or pick them with the file dialog.
-
Set quality or a target size
Choose an output format and quality, or type a target in KB (for example 100 for a 100KB cap). Each image is processed individually.
-
Download the ZIP
When the batch finishes, download files one by one or grab everything as a single ZIP — assembled in your browser, still with no server involved.

Frequently asked questions
How many images can I compress at once?
There is no hard cap on how many files you can drop in one batch. Free users get 10 images per browser session; a one-time $9 license removes that quota permanently. Each file can be up to 50 MB.
Which image formats are supported?
Input: JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF. Output: JPEG, PNG, or WebP. You can mix formats in one batch and choose a single output format for the whole run — including bulk PNG/JPG to WebP.
Is it really private — do my images get uploaded?
No. SnapShrink never uploads your images. Compression runs locally with the File API, Canvas, and a Web Worker. Open DevTools → Network while compressing and you will see zero file-upload requests.
What is target-KB sizing?
Target-KB mode lets you type a size cap (for example 100) and the engine finds the highest quality that keeps each image at or under that size. If the cap is unreachable, it reports the best size it achieved instead of failing silently. See the compress image to 100KB page for a walkthrough.
What does SnapShrink cost?
The first 10 images per browser session are free, with every feature included. Unlimited batch compression is $9 once — no subscription. Details on the refund policy if you change your mind.
